Pre-painted exterior weather hood for exhaust application. Connects to 12" ducting.
Air is lazy. It does not like to be made to abruptly change direction. Most exhaust hoods compromise between being as small as possible to be attractive and not restricting the air flow. These hoods have straight, but gentle lines, easing the air out at 45 degrees instead of an abrupt 90 degrees. They are well made and include a wire screen that keeps the birds out but has limited flow resistence. The aluminum collar accomodates a 12" duct.
Note: this is the hood design. Not the louver-style.
