Roof mounted exhaust vent in black UV protected polymer resin. The vent is molded in a single piece so there are no seams to leak. A flashing/mounting flange extends out 4" in all directions allowing for a long lasting, water tight installation. System includes a bird screen and a removable back draft damper. It also includes a ducting connector for 4" or 5" ducting that snaps into the bottom of the vent prior to installation.
We selected this vent to include in our product line because of the gentle curve of the hood that eases the air out of the building. We also believe that products should be designed by people who use them. Some hoods don't have effective means for mounting or flashing. This one has both. If you are venting a 4" or 5" duct out of the roof this is the way to go.
The damper itself is tighter and better fitting than most.
