Tan Dryer Exhaust Vent/Hood for 4" Ducting.
Flange: 8 1/2" x 7 3/4";
Drip edge 1 3/4" out from flange allowing for siding coverage;
Tan;
Hood removable after installation for access to damper;
4" ducting slides inside mounting pipe.
Tan Dryer Exhaust Vent. Ideal for use in 'rain screen' systems. Removable damper and built-in drip edge. For use with 4" ducting. Manufactured of UV protected polymer resin.
There are a bunch of chintzy looking dryer hoods out there. This one is unusual in that it appears thought went into the design. Air doesn't like to make abrupt turns. This hood is effectively curved to allow the air to flow out smoothly. Thought went into the design of the water protection as well. The backdraft damper on this hood can be removed if you really want to. Don't really know why you would but you could. The damper itself is tighter and better fitting than most.
