The latest version of the ASHRAE 62.2-2013 ventilation standard has raised the whole building ventilation rate significantly. But it also allows the application of an infiltration credit if a blower door test has been performed on the house for both new and existing homes. Calculating the infiltration credit requires using a 'wsf' or a shielded weather factor from the ASHRAE TMY3 data.
