Product Details This switch works with a bathroom fan and light wired separately. Both light and fan start together. But turning the switch off turns off the light but leaves the fan running for a preset amount of time. Moisture can remain on the bathroom walls and in the towels for a very long time. This switch will let the ventilation system perform its primary job - preventing mold and mildew.
