GRILLE EGGCRATE STYLE WITH DUCT ATTACHMENT COLLAR
This is a unique intake or return grille that does it all. First and foremost it looks good. Crisp, clean, lines. Sharp edges. Snow white color. Second, it includes a duct attachment collar with restraint clips to keep the ducting from sliding off. Third, it includes a removable damper system that can be adjusted to balance the flow through your system or be removed entirely to remain wide open. Third, the "eggcrate" grille material is removable for cleaning or adjusting the damper after installation. The eggcrate design offers a maximum, free opening area for minimum flow restriction.
Finally, there is a feature that you probably only use once. In each of the four corners there are spring loaded clamps. After spotting the installation hole with the included template and cutting the hole, the clamps should be "armed". Push the grille into the opening and the clamps snap down on the sheetrock up to an inch thick. No screws required. Cool!
