Quality Control is important in many activities. The more complex, the more impact that it has on peoples' lives, the more important QC becomes. In residential construction, the Quality Control Inspector is the final authority on a project, carefully blending together the needs of the homeowner, the weatherization or building crew, and the organization, company, or agency that is responsible for the project.
Quality Control Inspector (QCI) is one of the four advanced NREL/BPI Home Energy Professional Categories. To achieve this qualification requires passing both a written and a field test.
The Quality Control Inspector's Handbook has been created to support a successful challenge of these exams. Written by a QCI Master Trainer (Paul H. Raymer), the book is filled with information to be a first class QCI through understanding rather than simply memorizing the information.
The book provides support advice from QCIs who have taken and passed the test, from QCI trainers who teach the information, and from other experts in the field.
Please click on QCI Handbook to join our QCI Handbook mailing list and get update notices. Thank you.
