Description Technical Specs Extended Information   Flow driven, aluminum butterfly backdraft damper Model UPC # A* B RSK 6 69060 6 3 1/8 Backdraft dampers with galvanized steel collar and lightweight aluminum damper blades. Spring loaded for positive closure. Note that any backdraft damper will take some flow away from the fan just to push the damper blades open. These light, aluminum, butterfly blades are returned to the closed position with a very gentle spring pressure. It is best to orient the blades in the ducting so that the hinge is in a vertical position. Damper housing can serve as a junction between ducting sections. It has indentations to capture pull ties.
