WIde Mouth Aluminum Hood - 4 inch w/ 11 1/2 in. tailpipe. Back plate. Back draft damper.
Low equivalent length: 9 feet;
Aluminum construction;
Attaches to 4" diameter ducting.
Four inch diameter ducting will produce significant airflow resistance and should only be used in low volume airflow situations. 100 cfm dryer airflow, for example, would generate a velocity of more than 3,000 fpm! But if you are working with 4" ducting, this hood provide a small amount of resistance.
